Program Purpose
The goals of the Ethics Core are to provide education about bioethics and research ethics throughout the curriculum, provide interventions early in the research process to avoid potential ethical pitfalls before they become real problems, and integrate ethics into a single point-of-entry service for potential researchers. These goals are implemented by the Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics (SCBE).
