Office of Research Administration (ORA)

The Office of Research Administration (ORA) manages the administrative processes related to Stanford’s sponsored research and capital equipment. In addition, ORA is responsible for service centers, research compliance, and the development and negotiation of fringe benefit and F&A rates. More »

Office of Sponsored Research (OSR)  

The Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) provides pre-award and post-award administrative services for sponsored projects for the University.  In addition, OSR works in close collaboration with a number of partner groups in other central and school offices to help ensure the overall effective coordination of research administration services, systems, policies, and processes. Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) Contracts

OSR Contract and Grant Officers (School of Medicine Team) are responsible for the formal negotiation and administration of extramural support for University contract agreements sponsored by government and non-government sponsors (sponsored projects) including Clinical Trials. Contract Officers also prepare, negotiate and oversee subawards issued to subrecipients under Stanford sponsored projects awards. More »

Research Management Group 

Oversight and management of SoM sponsored projects and ensures compliance with sponsor and University expectations for managing sponsored funds. All contracts and grant proposals must be coordinated through RMG. RMG provides Official Signature of the University for all School of Medicine proposals and fellowship applications. More »
